Is there any benefit to doing Paralogue battles?

 

Special weapons and you level your units up

 

Oh wow okay

 

Yeah you can get like a special Lance, sword, axe, etc. All the ones they talk about that get a boost from crest-havers

 

I’m struggling with Bernie and Petra’s Paralogue battle rn

 

on top of the weapons theres a ton of exp to gain, chest loot, and some of them tie kinda into the main plot. they are my number two priority after side quest battles

 

My method is:
-Explore monastery first week of month. Find the people I’m trying to power up and use gifts to max their motivation. Also do professor training or whatever and all the little side missions and things like gardening or statues
-Every week after, if there’s paralogue or rare battles, do those obv
-If no interesting battles, do a seminar or explore again

My MC and Edelgard are consistently OP, and a few others are near that

 

i thought i was broke and then realized i was sitting on a pile of bullion and now im loaded

 

It is so fun making your students absolutely lethal on the battlefield.

 

I just made Caspar a grappler and my God he does insane damage with the gauntlet weapons

 

I can only level up my MCs skills through battle it looks like? I really need him to be an A with the sword rn

 

Honestly I'll probably just leave the thread for a bit. I have no qualms with doing so.

looks like it. my assumption is the rest of the game is going to be the straightforward fire emblem where it’s just mission after mission. but who knows.

i just told my wife “you’ll never ever guess what happens next” and she then proceeds with “maybe edelgard is the enemy”. on the outside i was all defensive and oh no why would she be an enemy she’s one of the heroes but deep inside i was wtf was i just that dense to not see it coming
