In Casual mode you can do some lower level battles without taking up an Activity points, so on my battle days I do two or three of those before actually using my Activity points on the quest/subplot battles. I just love the battle system lol. Almost all of my students are level 20 or higher.
I just did this battle at around 16 hours lol, hold up though how tf did you get a sniper already?? Can you do it with an intermediate thing, what ever its called
She's my only student that reached Advanced already, although a few others are close. Maybe I need to stop grinding this early on..
aren't you literally just rolling every battle? like I'm playing on hard/classic and I think it's way too easy at points.
genuinely jealous of how much time yall have to play I'm at 16 hours or so since morning of launch day and that's the most time per day average ive gotten to put into a game in maybe a couple of years lol
i have done every side quest battle or paralogue made available, but only two of the auxiliary battles or w/e so like no grinding and i feel pretty overpowered. this is on hard. the closest i get to grinding really is trying to kill as many units as possible before completing objective based fights.
My experience in FE games is you start to roll for a while then hit a major difficulty spike somewhere around 50 percent or so
for some reason I always feel like I need to finish the fights as quickly as possible, as if there was some sort of invisible round limit I need to beat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i cant upgrade my MC to an advanced class because i don’t have a B rank on anything haha. i’ll be sure to take note of that on my next playthrough. i think this might be my goty. just love it so much. it’s so different from the last 3 fire emblem games in terms of writing. everyone is just smarter
there was some bit in Golden Deer where Lorenz was about to praise Marianne but stopped himself midway (he had a storyline where he was reprimanded for being too forward with women), and decided not to. idk it’s just so self aware and i like how the game is not afraid to write unlikeable characters. his B conversations show a bit more layer, he’s no Raphael but i really like the parts where they show him try to change his ways and how the people in the house influence him in a positive way
I've been considering restarting my save because I'm not completely happy with everything as I'm right up against the time skip. Or I might just go with what I have and do a better run through on New Game+. But yeah, no game has sucked me in like Fire Emblem always does and this is my frontrunner for GOTY, so far.
The writing in this game is a major leap from the 3DS titles. I'm so happy about that. Only thing I wish is that students had S rankings supports with a few other students. Not to the extent of the 3DS games where everyone could get married no matter how much it didn't make sense. Just a few.
