Just been training my team to be able to handle swords/axes/lances and bows so there's no escape from their reach.

Currently toying with reclassing Flayn to dancer.

When you guys played the battle in The Underground Chamber, did any of you send people to the right to the warp pad? My first try I sent two people and I had a hard time to because of the archers, I was just curious if it was required and/or worth it lol

 

helping my wife update her resume and i was convincing her to put in “currently working full time mentoring a diverse class of students from different kingdoms”

 

I'm still quite early on. How do I make sure my forces have high defense against certain weapons?

 

Also what is 'authority' good for

 

I sent two, Petra and Dorothea since the former is a one-woman wrecking crew. She murdered everyone, but none had keys so that was a waste of time lol.

Not really sure you can besides leveling them up, having them be a certain class since that will affect what they're strong/weak to, and equipping them with items you find.

 

I sent a third the second time but all my characters ended up in that one area and I had to use someone to unlock the gate for them so yeah it was pointless lol.

 

Haha. Yeah, so far opening the treasure chests hasnt been very rewarding. I might have allowed time to send a character with a key all the way back if that mission didnt have a time limit.

 

we can still use seals during battle right? i totally missed that.

 

Finally got Marianne, fucking hell. Just a few students left I really want, then I'll grab any who are willing. Except like Lorenz and probably Sylvain because that fucker still passes.

 

Something I’m curious about: does Sylvian get involved with the battle to retrieve the lance of ruin even if you don’t have him in your class? I recruited him so he was with me for the battle and he kept the lance afterward.

 

is there a cap to how many students outside of your house you can recruit?

yeah I sent my main character. the archers did sub 3 damage.

 

I think I have one month before the time skip left to woo students. I plied the remaining 3 I wanted with a ton of gifts and boosted them to B, so hopefully that'll get them to join me, if I still have time left.

Also, Marianne fucking wrecks. In my first battle with her; enemies keep missing and she one-shots them in return.

 

Oh goddammit, I have a decision to make. Can't decide if I kill or protect Edelgard. Uggggggh.

Yeah, apparently it's a fourth route to the game I unlocked. you'll have to kill her if you're not in the black eagles and haven't done some additional stuff if you are. I'm leaning toward saving her and going against the church. but might go to an earlier save because I didn't get 3 students and it'll break my heart to murder them later.

Yeah. I put it down for the night (mostly because I have to go into the office tomorrow) and will contemplate my decision.

 

I feel like I fucked myself over playing on hard, I mean for me the difficulty is just right but I feel like y’all are lapping me

 

I've definitely put a ton of time into it though, too haha. At 17ish hours.

Will definitely play the other houses too. Love this game and it's all I've been thinking about haha.

 

you probably chose right if you think the difficulty is fine.

if lunatic was available from the start i probably would have picked that. i like my current playthrough but im so excited for it to get even harder
