Final Four (Comedies): The Simpsons vs. Nathan for You

Both have taken down incredible shows. Which one will face the dramas?

 

Since we have mostly stayed positive about the Simpsons, it should be noted how bad their theme park rides are.

Two of my favorite shows of all-time but one of them is my favorite show of all time.

 

Nathan because every minute of this show is incredible.

Simpsons haven't been funny since the 90s and if you tell me you still watch Simpsons today you're lying.

P.S. Simpsons was my favorite show in the 90s for sure.

I dont tune in weekly but I will absolutely watch a new episode from time to time. Just an incredibly silly post overall.

 

I have no interest in new Simpsons episodes but the logic doesn’t work. There are only 4 seasons of Nathan for You. Match that up with the best 4 seasons of the Simpsons and this isn’t close.

Nathan for You is definitely more niche than the heavy hitters so far.

 

Simpsons peaks higher but Nathan has the higher hit rate overall. Going The Simpsons here but it’s not a landslide in my mind, there’s a good argument for either

 

Sustained brilliance matters as well. 8 episodes a year is a lot easier than 22-24.

 

Objectively speaking, it’s the Simpsons by a mile on quantity of good content and cultural importance. And given the respective ages I watched them at even shaping my own sense of humor. But Nathan is the funniest thing ever to me and is getting my vote.

 

Both are among the best shows ever imo and deserve to be here. Voted for Nathan because I don't really have a preference and know it's going to get streamrolled anyway.
