Please anyone playing IX discuss it in here I just played through and would love to talk with someone about it
There was some ass clown on reddit stating that IX is among the worst of the series and that only people in the Final Fantasy subreddit feel different.
I probably have not played it in 8-10 years so I'm really excited about it. I still have it on the playstation but the portability of the Switch is a game changer.
Awesome, yeah I played it on my hacked psp for the portability, I really wish I waited a few weeks so I could play on the switch screen.
i have never played IX but i watched my ex play about half of it and she made me do the sparring minigame for her
Have to get down to 0.0 seconds and the best I've gotten was 35.0. Really hard to get more than a few balloons, especially while dodging birds Lightning dodging is... Idk I was successfully able to dodge two of them in a row when I passed through there
Also not sure I want to put a ton more time into X right now because I want to get around to VII, Lightning Returns, and X-2 soon
I'd go 6 before anything else, then 4,5,7,8 in whatever order. 9 is great to play because you can see it's honoring past Final Fantasies before it took a left turn when they made 10. 6 is an amazing experience though.
Pretty much agree. While 9 is my favorite followed by 4, I think 6 is objectively the best. I also really like 5, that job system is super fun. Save 2 for last.
I mean this is the perfect time to play 9 as I'm pretty sure most people in this thread will be replaying it thanks to the re-release haha
Did not bring my switch to work today as planned to play 9. I played for maybe 20-30 mins last night and just crashed in the forest.
