Finished the demo. It's pretty fun for what it is. If the Iron Giant fight at the end feels underwhelming skip the "awakening" pad and go to the one on the back to spawn one 10 levels higher. Did that a few times just to get used to the fight mechanics.

 

Carbunkle is a fennec fox. Squeeeee.

 

Late to the party because I went to bed before the whole announcement and I'm going to the Cavs game tonight but I can't wait to download the demo/watch the first anime episode.

 

Also playing Platinum Demo erased my fears on the framerate

 

so hyped about finally getting this game.

Long shot but figured I'd see if anyone else plays Final Fantasy XIV and plug my character. No one on AP did but who knows haha. I main Summoner.

 

The demo kinda felt like a waste outside of HOW ADORABLE CARBUNKLE WAS.

 

I mained a summoner while I played. Got to around 40 and left for Afghanistan. My brother said my character is likely gone so I never went back.

 

Yeah I feel like it shouldn't have been called a demo per se, advertising it as a demo made it feel very underwhelming haha.
