he said three episodes so I'm assuming the unnamed one will be Aranea after Ardyn and Luna. she played quite a part in the story and was also helping Prompto, so they can't ignore that and they know the fans like her enough.

I finished episode prompto and the story in the assassin's festival yesterday (that ends January 31).

I miss FF XIV. Wish it wasn't subscription

 

I wish FFXIV was like...slower hahaha I don’t know. I wish I could jump back into it and not feel like I’m decades behind everyone

 

Episode Ignis is actually awesome. Much better than Gladious and Prompto

 

I keep going to start it and then get overwhelmed and decide not to

 

I still have an active sub just in case, because any time my sub isn't active I always have urges to play again hahaha

 

I finally beat FF 8 last week and it was by far the easiest Final Fantasy I have ever played, I can't remember one tough boss battle. That being said I definitely enjoyed it. I think once you fully understand the Junction system it gets really easy to take advantage of. I did around the end of disc 2.

 

The junction system is so exploitable haha

I really wish they would remake FF8. That game would be incredible with a revamped combat system. I loved the world a ton and the characters were great

 

FFXV is by far the easier. It’s almost impossible to get a game over

 

The thing I do like a lot about the Junction System is, while it's easily exploitable, it's also easy to make new challenges for yourself by using it in different ways

 

Yeah just sacrifice some time in a battle to junction a fuckload of magic every now and then through out the game and you are set. Once I junctioned a bunch of ultima and flares it was a WRAP. Haha.

 

Hm i've only played about halfway through FF XV but i definitely had more challenging moments in that game, more beacuse of trying to get used to the battle system I guess though which I haven't mastered yet. So idk.

 

I just wasn't willing to micromanage that much with the Drawing and whatnot. Also was not a fan of how they handled Summons. I did like how you could auto crit with Squall if you timed it just right.

 

Just played FFXV Episode Ignis ;( it was beautiful. crying rn at the credits scene and post credits scene.

Where in the story do these take place?

 

Ignis is after the leviathan trial
Gladio is when he goes off on his own (this is early on in the story)
Prompto is after he gets kicked off the train

 

Oooh they added an extra section so you can replay one part of episode ignis with a different outcome. Interesting.

It adds a lot of backstory to Ardyn.

 

I need to buy the season pass now that the character DLCs are all out

 

It has an alternate ending and when you complete it, the title screen for the episode changes.

Really great. Interesting stuff. Worth the money.

Brought all the feels and reminded me of why I like this game.

 

didn't need another game, let alone another long jrpg, but i got in the mood to play a final fantasy game (the holidays were always nonstop FF time for me as a kid) so i finally got around to buying the XII remaster.

 

I still need to finish it, I’m enjoying it so far

 

i have X, XII and XV at home and have started none of them cause i suckkkkk

 

i looooved FFXII when i played it but i haven't played it since its initial release, i think (though i watched one of my roommates play a lot of it in college), so i'm excited to play it again.

 

the only FF games i've finished are the XIII trilogy, type-0 and XV. i'm still at the beginning of XII Zodiac Age. i also have FFVII, X, and X-2
