It's weird. They clearly made each character to a job archetype, but they're all shit at their obvious jobs lol.
The stats aren't bad enough that they shouldn't do the jobs at all imo. I ran them mostly as their defaults other than Vaan being my white mage.
Idk Fran is a really bad archer. The others aren't as bad as she is, but damn I don't know why they did her dirty like that.
FFIX out on PS4 now with some (all?) of the PC version changes - they mention a high speed/fast forward mode (which this game's fairly slow battle system sorely needs), don't know what else is in there.
9 is a classic just like 7 and 8. I would definitely play this again on PS4, I've actually been wanting to.
Awesome soundtrack, think all of y'all will find some stuff to like here. I also finished the FFXIII event. Got a bit left of the crystarium, but the story part is done. I really enjoyed it and I was just happy to see Lightning again. XD As for Mobius' story, it's on chapter 6 right now. I'm on chapter 3 part 2. It's free to play and is on steam.
I feel like the DLC episodes have been fairly mediocre so far, but the first part of that trailer with Ignis on the boat looks fucking awesome. It would be cool if they could patch in some new areas/dungeons into the main game. I spent so much time just exploring that world, I would love some new stuff in that vein.
I threw in FFXV again since it has Xbox One X enhancements. I had already beaten the game so I went to call Umbra to play in the "post game". My save transferred over an all, but all my map points are gone from the map. It started me at Cape Caem and I can fast travel to Hammerhead, but everything else is shadowed out. If I drive around it's like I'm un covering everything again making the map lighter as I drive over it. And no one in the world has the time to drive around from place to place in this game. Anyone know what gives? UPDATE: I know what gives. Don't choose chapter select if you don't want what I mentioned above to happen to you. Just loaded the last save I had normally, called Umbra, and all was good. Hearing some of the music for this first time in 8 months or so and it feels nice. Can't really tell any GFX upgraded with my 1080p set and my XB1X though. I think it runs smoother? It may be showing full 1080p now. Maybe better draw distance from what the developer said.
the multiplayer DLC came out for FFXV today. It's a whole new campaign that you can play with other people or solo. It's basically a janky Monster Hunter (do hunts, unlock other hunts). It's fun, but they barely explain any of the new mechanics. Even with it getting pushed back multiple times it still feels rushed
"According to the latest Active Time Report, via WCCFTECH, players will be able to switch between Noctis, Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto in battle, and each of them will control as they do in their respective DLC packs. Next year will also feature the release of at least three DLC episodes, and one of them will focus on Ardyn, Final Fantasy XV's antagonist. As for the focus of the other DLC packs, Square Enix is saving details to be revealed at a later date. In an IGN interview at PAX 2017, FFXV Director Hajime Tabata discussed Ardyn, saying he'd like to see stories about Ardyn and Luna fleshed out, as he considers them "incredibly key characters to the story."
