I'll need to max out each players skill (fishing, cooking, etc) and kill the tortoise to platinum this game. Ugh.

 

All I need is Noctis' fishing level. Currently at lvl 9. Almost there and I'll have the platinum. Stoked. Just picked up 2.8 today as well. 0.2 is awesome.

 

Fishing was the only difficult thing for plat. Took way too long. So frustrating and unrewarding.

 

I like fishing, it's just taking for Fucking ever.

 

I think I had his fishing level at 10 in chapter 3.

 

Unrewarding?! I feel a sense of accomplishment every time I catch a new fish haha. I can't catch the Phantom Snakehead. I've tried everything. Wonder if my game is glitched somehow.

 

I caught one fish for that cat at the beginning and I think I'm good.

not at all, I think it's gross.

 

I don't mind it in real life but I'm not big on it in FFXV. Or most games.

 

Do you have to catch every fish to reach platinum? I don't usually go for the trophies, but I'm curious. The giant catfish and regal arampia are ridiculous. I've tried for hours and can't land them.

 

You just have to reach level 10, don't need every fish.

 

Makes sense. I could see people really struggling. That fish I mentioned is damn near impossible.

It's a great track. Suits the game very well as it's used.

Anyone get through the Castlemark dungeon? I've read a few guides on the blocks, but I keep screwing it up.

 

Yeah I kept fucking that shit up as well, I had to fight like 20 red giants, shit was annoying. Once you get on the elevator and go back to the room where you start go to your left, SW corner. Activate that one to start and keep going east.

 

I fought about four rounds of them and had to exit the dungeon after. I kept checking that cube and it was never activated. No idea if will all be reset now.

 

Yeah I'd just keep doing the three other ones until it's activated to use. I don't know what triggers that or if there really is any rhyme or reason to it.

 

I've been in the Steyliff Grove secret vault for like 6 hours (separated over three days). This sucks. It's not even enjoyable. Tonberrys are a god damn nightmare to fight. I am almost out of healing items. I've run out of magic a while ago. If this ends with another mediocre weapon I'm going to punch everything

 

Does anyone know if I leave the vault to resupply, will all the enemies respawn? Or would I be able to just run to where I am? This would be so much easier if I had some magic

 

I think enemies always respawn.

 

Once you hit master tonberry you are toward the end.

 

Those dudes are the worst.

 

I finally beat the Steyliff vault. Fuck that. Tonberrys were always my favorite enemy because they're so cool but god damn, fighting groups of them for 20 floors was the WORST
