So I just finished the main story. Right about 50 hours. Level 57.

Ending scenes were pretty bad ass but WHY?! And what the heck?!!!!!!

 

Aw damn I cannot wait that long. Especially when I'm off on Xmas break (work at a school) so the free time coming up is endless haha. Thanks for the heads up tho. That's what I figured but I was hoping I was wrong.

 

You may be disappointed...lol

 

Yeah I just finished the main story. I want to write my review up for you guys but wonder if I should finish up the "post game" stuff before I finalize it.

 

Chapter 8, level 40.

Also how exactly do I access all that season pass holiday rewards thing...? I have redeemed my code, I just checked. So IDK

 

If you downloaded them from the store, the items will just appear in your inventory.

You said you can't wait to get Leviathan. You don't really get to use/have Leviathan. Summoning is weird in this game lol

 

You can summon Leviathan, just need to be next to water (and whatever other weird shit is required to summon)

 

I never got the chance to summon Titan. Mostly Ramuh. Then Leviathan a couple times.

 

Oh I know. I meant just do that section. Was pretty cool, the battle and how it plays out.

 

Now on chapter 13.. I love this game, but the story seems so light.. short.

Loved the game, didn't love the story. Especially the ending. I guess I liked some of it, but overall it lacked a lot for a FF story.

 

Debating whether I want to do the experience/cash exploit.

Currently at level 40 on chapter 5.

 

Dang did you do pretty much everything? I have a lot of hunting to do, a few chocobo quests, and arms dealer quest, and a regalia quest left but I did everything else (except the level 99 fight and the hidden dungeons) and I ended the story in 48 hours at level 57.

 

Yeah. All I have left is hunts, the last fishing quest, and collecting weapons, beating the last few secret bosses.

 

Completed Chapters 9-12 last night. A lot happened. Not sure how to take it yet. Quite distraught to see Ignis like this, it's painful. Worried about Prompto. Had a feeling Luna would die. I'm so sick of Ardyn, what a douchebag. It's kinda shitty to see Noctis be powerless over him right now. But I at least appreciate that they're showing that these boys are still human, they suffer, they make mistakes, and are not flawless OP Gods. Example, Noctis being tricked by Ardyn. I had a friend that said, "Noctis should have known that was Prompto" and I dunno about that.

 

Does anyone know how to get magitek suits? Apparently they are ideal for doing the post game dungeons.

 

Postgame dungeons are the vaults right?

+ the one you have to fly to of course

 

Chapter 13 is definitely very rough. The ring is impossible to control besides one spell, the camera angles are bad, and you can't sprint unless you're in battle.

I think I'm almost at the end of the chapter now, since I found Regis' sword, and Gladio and Ignis.

 

Chapter 13 is just way too long. I didn't mind it otherwise. But yeah the ring attacks were garbage. Lol

 

So when I played I got to use the Fathers sword like half way through. Did that happen for you?

 

Yeah that's just part of the story.

 

Oh nice, I thought they might have added it with the patch or something.

Currently tying up loose ends. Mainly hunts. Finished all of the legendary side quests except Naglfar so far.

 

The sewer might be my least favorite dungeon ever.

 

Chapter 14, level 46. Enemies are really tough now. Still unsure how to feel about the story. Worried considering not many people seem to like the ending.
