Yeah I've finally been able to get him to give me two upgraded weapons. He will call you after you give him the ingredient and the weapon (I've read you have to un-equip it) and then stay at a hotel.

 

I love Galdio and his Impulse tech. It's been invaluable in Costlemark tower. Fuck bombs. So annoyingly strong.

 

Just did the last quest for Dino and man, just that little bit of Costlemark SUCKED. I can't imagine the whole tower.

 

Dude. I didn't realize what I was getting into. I literally just finished. It took me a good two hours. There's a third wave group of two red giants and a nagini snake. I literally used over a hundred items.. the puzzles were cool. It was a really cool dungeon but fuck..

 

What level were you guys when you did Costlemark? I've been holding off because I hear it's super buggy and they were gona fix it with a patch (not sure if 1.03 addressed that or not)

 

I was level 54 when I did just the Dino's emerald bracelet quest. I'm not going to go back until after I beat the main storyline, which should be tonight or this weekend some time. The "final battle" appears to be all I have left.

Side quest wise i think I still have a few chocobo quests, an arms dealer quest, 2-3 upgraded weapons quests and the full costlemark quest. And obviously I haven't done the hidden dungeons and such. I'm now level 57 (other three are level 55) and I think it's time to finish the story.

 

I just played it after the patch.. I was a lvl 53.. shot up to 63 now.. Saved up 100k exp lol

 

That was probably the most challenging thing I've done in this game. It was impressive and tough. I thought being a couple levels under wouldn't matter, but I would definitely suggest being at least 5 above, having a shit ton of items and some very high level blizzard magic.

If you can make it through the three phases and get to the dungeon boss you're golden.

 

I'm redboxing this, will get it if I really like it.

 

I have a love hate relationship with it. It barely feels like a final fantasy game to me but it keeps making me want to play more. I've already played nearly 50 hours.

 

I didn't realize I had 304 AP haha. A lot of fun stuff to unlock. I'm enjoying the hunts. Not sure how to feel yet about the story - will gather my thoughts on that once I've finished it. I do love exploring the world and the quests, both main and side, are very fun. I also love being able to customize the regalia.

I'm still trying to rip my damn soundtrack. I'm so bad at this.

 

Chapter 8 now! Levels 39/38. I really liked the chapter 7 dungeon, a lot. And I quite liked Aranea honestly lol

 

any of y'all get a glitch where when riding in the car it looks like the characters are talking to one another but there's no audio?

Finally gonna pop in the soundtrack and hear how it all is (other than what I've heard in game obviously)

 

lol ok cool, I was thinking maybe it was just animation of them talking amongst themselves and intentional. Just glad I'm not missing any good dialogue

 

Letting everyone know because I'm a complete moron:

If you have the Blu Ray soundtrack, there's an "Extras" option and that option is where you can use your home network to download the .mp3 version of the soundtrack.

 

The guys talking in the car without audio isn't a glitch. Just an animation

 

Not that I remember. I did have a weird glitch where is looked like noctis was falling off a cliff and the other are standing up while driving the regalia lol

 

Took a break from this game since I hit Chapter 12 and wanted to wait to play 13 til they "fixed" it. Did this patch fix it and add all that shit? I don't really see it confirmed anywhere or I'm just blind. Also don't care about the DLC altho those accessories are really fucking nice. I'm still debating on the season pass.

 

I'm still only in chapter 3 but find myself getting destroyed a lot.

 

Finally moved on. Ch 9 and all I have are hunts. Running out of those tho.. looking forward to getting Leviathan

 

No the added content/fix patch comes out sometime next year.
