nope. I'm a Xbox One owner because more of my family and friends are on there and I'm really eh on most PS exclusives besides The Show.
Those games are all available on other devices. I-IX are all on iOS, and I think most (if not all) of them are on Steam too. Granted, a collection like that will probably be cheaper than buying them all on those services, but still, they're there.
Just a heads up there are spoilers in this article. Fuck, I kind of want to hold off on progressing the game if they're going to be adding/fixing late game stuff
Ah dang. Yeah I'm the other way. Most of my friends have x boxes too but I love the Sony exclusives (uncharted, last of us, etc) way more
Geesh. We aren't getting a FF 16 any time soon haha. How much are DLC episodes usually? $5? $10? I've never downloaded one before but can see wanting to for this game. Hard to think of playing through a final fantasy game for a second time but I did it with IV and will probably do it with X at some point but those are my favorite two games from the series so these improvements (other than the dlc episodes) after the fact are somewhat irritating haha
Stuff like this isn't new, Square adds similar content and tweaks to their International Version/Final Mix for Kingdom Hearts rereleases in Japan, but I can understand that it's frustrating they're talking about adding story scenes now when people are still working their way through the story. As someone who would have replayed the game in a year or two anyway, I'm excited to see what they fix and change, but again I can see why a lot of the reactions I've seen today to the updates have been frustrated and a little angry. They haven't released individual prices or anything but it's $25 for the season pass for everything...so just guessing maybe $5-8 per character episode and $10 for the multiplayer expansion? With the way season passes are it'll end up being a little more (say $30) for everything separately than it is to buy the pass..
Can someone summarize the update anouncement without spoilers? Currently on Chapter 13 and apparently they're gonna make it a less, "so awful i can't bear playing this for more than 20 minutes at a time" experience?
I'm moving way too slow. Just went through the first dungeon and it felt almost exactly like FF12 to me. I bought the collectors edition guide/ It seems pretty well made, but I don't want to spoil anything for myself. Is it best to get access to Chocobos and do sidequests then? It takes forever to get around on foot.
I feel like chocobos aren't that much faster than foot. I used the car for a lot but did travel by foot for awhile to get some battle experienced.
make sure you do the sprint trick (release sprint right before you run out of stamina, you'll warp ahead and completely refill the bar) Chocobos are pretty fast though
Currently on CH. 2 of FF15 with an 11 hour play time. Really loving it. Didn't think I would. I'm guessing this is how the 7 Remake will be in terms of episodic. Each chapter being a portion.
looking back at old XV trailers and I'm pretty sure the whole invasion in Kingsglaive was supposed to be the opening of the game but they took it out and made the film instead which is super disappointing if true. I think that would have been a way stronger opening and that footage honestly looks better than anything I've played so far in the game.
Are you referring to the original Somnus Nemuri trailers or whatever? Or a different one? If the former, those were made when the game had an entirely different plot I think.
Yeah I think you're right haha, or that it at least revolved around some kind of war. It's possible that it was the events before Kingsglaive? Before the ceasefire was proposed etc.? But yeah it seems to be around that time.
The stuff they're saying even sounds like they're referring to them coming for the crystal and I can't remember if it's that trailer or another earlier one but there's even the scene where his dad and that white robe guy are almost fighting intertwined with Noctis and the guys fighting in the city. It would have been a much more Final Fantasy opening, big and bombastic as opposed to pushing the car. It would also make much more sense in terms of setting up the story and explain why so much vital plot was in the movie and the main characters found out about it in a really weird way.
Yeah that's my one real bummer with this game. You can't even summon them whenever and are random/can only be used in certain circumstances. Ah well.
I was watching a podcast where they talk about a pretty op Ignis recovery attribute. I'm assuming it's in the teamwork ascension tree?
