If the download goes fast though, it'd probably be done by the end of the movie, since I got the deluxe edition. Who knows. my internet has been kooky. or it's just my wifi being crap, in which case my ps4 is fine there since i use a wired connection.
I love the music in the car drives. Listened to most of the main playlist (Solidarity was especially amazing), then some FF13 and FF7 tunes. Music as whole has probably been the most remarkable aspect so far. Combat's great, took me a bit to get into the flow of it (I'm also using Wait as apposed to Active, which I like a lot more)
These next nine hours of work are going to be hell. I just want to come home and and start it. I hate not being able to preload the patch since I bought physical.
So people are finishing this already. Most folks are saying, with cutscenes and skipping sidequests, it sits around 15-20 hours. One guy finished it in 10, skipping all cutscenes.
I saw a video on IGN where the guy said he's been playing for 85 hours, and he predicted that with all the side quests he still had left to do, he would reach 100 easily.
I could see that (although skipping cutscenes is so dumb). The game has so much to do though, definitely more than 20 hours to play overall.
The reviews I've seen have said they've put in around 50-60 hours. It feels weird to me putting less than 100 hours into a FF game. lol
I love Amazon because my copy is already delivered. I love myself because I did all my homework last night. I love my roommates for not being home at all today.
XIII-2 was a quick finish, for sure. XIII, I definitely put a ton of time into once I hit dry land. Killing admantoise took a really long time to master.
Same, haha. If not for meetings, I would have stayed home and remoted just to get the patch install done early.
It honestly wasn't the longest part for me. The longest part was getting the leveling weapons. Keep in mind though that file was my PS2 file, my PS3 one with the Penance kill is at 50 hours and not 100% yet, and my PS4 one won't ever be 100% because I'm doing a NSG challenge. But basically a lot of well timed skill and a lot of luck on drops and somewhat random setups (ex. I got Tidus's Sigil first try somehow)
I did the lightning bolt years later on the PS3 remaster, and I nearly cried when I finally did it. Hitting that one spot that always makes the lightning hit was the only way to do it.
The Vita was a nightmare for a lot of games. Playing Disgaea on it was horrible. The back panel did something in the game that kept fucking me up. I just couldn't get through the earliest stages of the game with it.
