I hear ya. It's not for everyone I suppose, I was gripped by the story and (especially) by Kefka as a villain, enjoyed having someone that was just evil to be evil opposed to conflicted villains like Sephiroth/Seymour.

Not to be "that guy" but I thought we were straying away from one word/"lol" responses on Chorus haha. What are the thoughts that prompted it?

 

I mean I like it, just not as much as other entries. I'll definitely get back into it soon.

 

I feel like generally there's a gap depending on which FF they first got into that defines which ones will end up being favorites. My first was VIII so I kinda fit the instance of liking later ones more but VI is an exception. I wonder if it's true throughout or how many exceptions there are to where it doesn't apply anymore.

I still need to finish VI. I was playing it last year but then I got a shiny new PS4 for Christmas so I haven't gone back to it. I want to hook it up to my TV and try using the PS4 controller with it.

 

That's so late tho

 

I really wanna knock out FFVIII but at this point Squall is ~30 levels higher than everyone else and every time I've fought Reaver I get wrecked by Pulse Shock. Does anyone have any advice for this?
