Not for mac :(. I'm thinkin of gettin a ps4 for xmas but my TV currently is 15 years old and only has A/V wires. You need HDMI for ps4 i'd imagine.

 

I just hope this game has that JRPG soul I've been craving.

 

Play Bravely Default.

 

I enjoyed Bravery Default. Like many 3DS JRPG's it did become very repetitive.

 

Didn't help that it repeated the same thing 6 times. I couldn't even play Bravely Second because there was nothing different about it at all. Bummed me out.

VII was my first, and it is probably my favorite game of all time. Tactics is a close second, though.

 

Yup VII holds a dear, near place in my heart. Unlike any other fame i've ever played. Don't see that ever playing.

 

Only games that have a place like that for me are FFVI, FFX, Kingdom Hearts, and .hack//infection

But I get why FFVII holds that place for people even though it doesn't at all for me

 

idk how to explain it but i'd recommend you try it. it's not like FFRK though. it's...a bit more of a mix of the FF XIII styles? it's really beautiful and has nice music at least. xD

Hahaha it's sad that that genuinely will get me sold on a game but yeah I'm gonna watch this video once people start leaving work around 5. I'm definitely intrigued considering the combination of the description and knowing it's a mobile game.

 

I want this game to make me feel the way I felt when I played Xenoblade Chronicles, FF12 and Dragon Quest 8. Might be asking a lot... I just want a game with heart and soul.

 

First Final Fantasy I played was 8.
First I beat was 9. (Vivi & Steiner are forever my fav characters ever probably)
First I obsessively played over and over was 10.

I know 7 is the golden child and trust me I understand why, it was just oddly the one that managed to somehow fall into that hole for me. They're all some of my favorite games though.
I also played Final Fantasy 11 for awhile, grew up with a few people through that its odd to look back as now I'm a lil older knowing I grew up with people behind cat and elf avatars for awhile lmao. /Nerd

The double monster-catching dose of finishing up World of Final Fantasy and getting deeper into Pokemon Moon (plus family + Thanksgiving) is going to make the wait pretty bearable but holy shit am I excited for XV.

 

It goes without saying but since the game is leaked I guess I should say it:

Please anyone who somehow gets a copy early do not spoil anything in this thread because I have waited 10 years and if it is spoiled for me I will cry.

 

Yes, please, no spoilers. I've avoided many trailers/impressions the past year as to go in knowing as little as possible.

 

I'm probably going to ditch this thread and most gaming sites for now but I swear if I get a big spoiler on Twitter or Facebook or something I'm going to be pissed.

Didn't know about this thread, suppose I'll jump right in:

First: Final Fantasy I & II Advance
Favorite: Final Fantasy VI
Opinion on Final Fantasy VII: It's a great game that deserves it's place of honor in gaming history, although for me it is probably slotted in at #4 (behind FFVI, FFXII, and FFX but just ahead of FFIV).

Can't wait to pour hours and hours into FFXV. Really hoping it justifies the ten-year wait.

 

Forget the butchering Final Fantasy VII is in the process of receiving re: the remake - Can we get a petition going for SE to remake Final Fantasy VI on 3DS? Why isn't that a thing?

 

Trying SO HARD to hold back from clicking play on this knowing that my copy is 5 days away but even the still looks so great! Hahaha
