Might wanna get one asap, with the industry being what it is i wouldn't be surprised if they get another price increase. Xbox just got another one, i fear it spreading to the other companies too. After the last Direct I went and bought one because upcoming games look good and I myself think there will be another price increase before long. I have absolutely zero games lol, but I'd rather have bought it before it gets any more expensive.

Yup, that's the plan at least. Gonna see if I can find any deals for prime and the other deals going on, if not then I'll just pull the trigger on the bundle with Bonanza or Mario Kart World.

Woot (through Amazon) had them on sale for $30-50 off at the start of Prime days and occasionally they pop back in stock but sell out quick.

It's a shame it didn't even last til Revelation came out.

But it being literally a reskinned Nier Reincarnation, I knew it wasn't long for the world. I do hope squeenix continues to port their gachas into single player games but it being the same as Nier, I fear would be a much greater undertaking than Octopath 0 and FFBE.

Yeah, I enjoyed it, but it went he way of KHUX, which I also enjoyed.

Have any of you played the mobile game that Resonance is based after? I've been hearing it's good so it's making me even more excited for Resonance.

I did. It's called Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in case you want to look up OG gameplay/footage. Resonance will most likely be based on FFBE's first season which has a nice and proper ending but hopefully if it sells well they will adapt later seasons. It was a fun game, had to s if personality and nostalgia for the FF series as a while so I'm very excited for Resonance. I hope it does well, I'm super impressed with how it looks already.

Nice, that's good to hear. I remember hearing about Brave Exvius, but I never played it. Yeah, the art style and old school graphical vibe really got me interested. Even the little bit about the characters they've released. It'll be a perfect game for the Switch 2.

Funny enough, I'm finally finished Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Remake on my OG Switch and am loving it, really takes me back to the days of Squaresoft and their amazing RPG's.

I really hope squeenix realizes that FF doesn't have to be AAA 4K graphics to be a good game, HD2D can be just as good.

Speaking of switch and old school, there's another game coming out based on a gacha, Another Eden that's switch exclusive. It's made by the creator of Chrono Trigger and it 100000% has the old school vibes of classic JRPGs.

    Totally agree!

That looks pretty cool. I just barely played Chrono Trigger for the first time ever about 4/5 years ago. It definitely lived up to the hype, especailly the music for me.

Funny because I played Chrono Cross on release and is one of my top 5 RPG's ever.

Any chance you played the new Adventures of Elliot RPG? That's been getting good reviews as well. Been thinking about getting that one too.

Not yet. I did play the demo but I've been too busy with other games to play that right now, but I really enjoyed that. It plays like an old school Zelda game but with a touch of squeenix JRPG which was nice. The only complaint I've really seen is that the four time periods are just a copy/paste of the same map just with different colors, so it feels really repetitive when everything stays the same layout. I definitely look forward to playing it though when I get a chance.
