wouldn't that push back KH3? I don't know how big their teams are but FF7 remake is going to be a huuugee undertaking.
Just beat FFX for the first time (never got past Jecht back in the day), so today is a big day. No, YOU'RE crying. What a game. I really want to replay IX now before XV but I don't want to have to do it on my phone.
Did you not do any sidequest stuff? Even a little bit of Omega Ruins exploration will make you massively overpowered for him.
I'm not sure I even knew about much of the side stuff back then. I didn't even do any Omega Ruins stuff this go around. Just a couple celestial weapons and got all the aeons and it was easy enough.
I'm at Bevelle right now. This is like then ninth time I've played through FFX. Will always be my favorite game.
Yeah I'm going in blind. I did play the demo but not a lot, just to get a feel for it and such. As the days go by I am more and more pumped for this. There really isn't a FF I didn't enjoy, so I'm excited.
I'm around 5 I think? But never fully completed it only maybe twice. (got to end game, omega, etc and just couldn't go to fight Jecht. Too heartbreaking) On PS2 I got it the day it came out at Kmart after it was sold out everywhere else. Man. I did nothing but play that game. And did EVERYTHING. Then helped my old friend (RIP) play and beat it with the help of a strategy guide lol. With some games growing up, strategy guides were my shit. Idc. The remaster on PS3 I got the day it came out too for old times sake. Then, my brother got me the PS4 version which I have yet to play. I will someday, but FF15 is out oh so close.
Just finished the FFXV movie. It was a ton better than expected. The action and animation was top notch and even though confusing in some parts, it never felt slow or dragged. The world has so much history that it was going to feel overwhelming no matter what for a bit, but it did a good job getting the audience caught up pretty quickly.
I was extremely excited for 12 and 13 back in the day. It is hard to care given how the series has devolved over the last few years.
XIII didn't do it for me in a variety of ways but it's still hard for me not to get excited about a new, single player mainline Final Fantasy. On another note, World of Final Fantasy is absolutely wonderful.
the XIII trilogy is where I started FF and I love it, and it's why I have this username. Those games and FF type-0 HD are the only FF games I've completed though. I have FF VII, X, and X-2 on Steam. I think I'll probably finish XV before any of those though haha.
