Yeah I remember like a decade ago it used to have release day shipping and sometimes I'd even get stuff early. Nothing HUGE but smaller stuff. I think I remember getting one of the Disgaea games and a Senran Kagura game early. But that was forever ago. Where I'm at in FL (northwest) the closest distribution centers are either south FL or AL lol. I know where I have family at in TX, they have a distribution center THERE so they get same day delivery. Must be nice haha.

I'm in November, so I'm nearing the end, but at the same time I don't want to rush it.

 

I'm so ready for Genesis in 4k.

Also I remembered how the devs said Advent Children was also integral to this new set of games and overarching story.

Watching now and look at this. I bet they just revealed the third game's name.

yeah, they used Reunion for the CC remaster. I feel like "Revival" is too close to "Rebirth" too, but I dunno, it could be. I'm sure it'll end up being some "re-" word though lol.

 

SHIT LOL I forgot it had the Reunion part added to it. It's been a looooong day.

As to "revival", I feel it fits the theme of a new beginning, like remake and rebirth. And what else could be considered a new beginning? REGENESIS, which is still my favorite (joke) pick mainly because it centers on my favorite Loveless-quoting person :]

 

I feel like it'll end up being a word closer to ending, since it'll be the last of the trilogy. Maybe something like "Resolution" or some word like that? Regenesis would be a fun word for a subtitle though, especially if Genesis DIDN'T show up lol

I do hope that we see kadaj, loz and yazoo again and that Easter egg in remake isn't just THAT.

Also, since I'm watching Advent Children Complete and it's just in JP I'm realizing that the new games kept ALL the VA from this movie! That's seriously an accomplishment. I haven't seen the dubbed version since it origins came out so I forget most VA except from the few appearances I think they retained in the KH games? So I dunno, and as much as I love the actor behind EN Sephiroth I would have preferred his AC/KH VA.

Yeah the combat in AC is just as slick as I remember.

Also, even in this Marlene can sense Aerith so even back then they were thinking of their connection. Damn.

 

AC (especially the Complete version) is a really fun film even if some people don't think it's "good", imo. I enjoy it a lot, but I am a bit sad that materia is barely involved since it would have been a lot of fun seeing everyone throwing spells around, at least for a while.

 

I was around 14 when AC originally came out, never even beat FF7 or even got close to it when I was a kid, and I probably watched AC like 10 times that year. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. lol

Advent Children Complete has like half an hour of footage that wasn't in the original but it's been so long since I'd seen it I couldn't begin to tell you what exactly it was haha.

 

I might end up waiting a bit to play it. I’m still enjoying Yakuza IW and I’m also playing Trails from Zero. All the hype is getting to me though…

 

I just finished Like A Dragon and am ready to go! Infinite Wealth will be my summer game once this is done.

 

I'm dedicating all day today and tomorrow (since my rebirth isnt arriving until the 1st) to XBC3.
