Just unlocked the final mission and SO many side quests just opened up lol

 

I just went on a little hunt spree and I love the edgy little things Clive says after each fight lol

 

The OST drops on the 19th. Stoked.

 

Wrapped up all side quests and hunts, missing 2 of the jukebox entries, but oh well. Going into the final mission now

 

For some reason, i've been slower than everyone else but I've just did the Titan fight and daaaaaamn, that's one of the best experiences yet!

 

just finished the Garuda fight. clive vs garuda was the first time the game was challenging at all, the ifrit vs garuda fight was almost comically easy

 

The game overall is too easy IMO. In my experience that doesn't change throughout the entire experience. If anything you get more OP. Things just become more spongey.

 

Agreed. I was worried about S tier hunts and I haven’t died to a single one.. wish it was a little harder.

 

I don't know if I need it to be harder as I'm still having fun but I do still wish it was harder, I hear Final Fantasy mode isn't much harder

 

Yeah it honestly isn't a a real critique from me, just something i've noticed. This game is so big I'd honestly rather blast through the story. I don't see a need for it to be much harder, especially if they aren't dumping a lot of importance into builds. It feels fun, fluid, and huge.

 

yeah that's where im at. i don't need it to be a scrolls game but some of the challenging fights of the 7-12 run are what made those so great

 

Finished last night and loved it. Great story, great combat, haven’t been invested in a game like this in a minute.

agreed though, could have been a bit more difficult. Like for instance, having multiple checkpoints throughout boss fights that you can restart from with a full potion inventory was a little much. I don’t mind having to try and get better over repeat attempts, so some customization around that would have been cool

 

I was so baffled there was no option for disabling the restocked items and that it's something they immediately do the first time you die, some games will do things like that after a few deaths

 

I heard final fantasy difficulty is actually pretty hard but it needs to be available right away, I would love a higher challenge but after already beating the game I don’t feel like jumping right back in to experience it. I get it because DMC and old god of war games did this with their highest difficulty options but the base options are simply too easy so it feels like it’s just flat out missing

 

Case in point just now: fighting behemoth and died with the boss having a sliver of HP left. And it respawns me with the boss at half health

 

Final boss fight was fun, felt like I needed a bigger TV for it haha

 

Haven’t tried them yet but Shiva’s abilities seems pretty good.

The end of this game is kind of amazing.

 

Been doing sidequests after I “accepted the truth”. Gonna go to the next main quest soon.
