Distant worlds concert was incredible. Setlist was something like this Opening Medley Those Chosen by the Planet Phantom Forest/Phantom Train Eyes on Me Cosmo Canyon Ignus and Ravus Roses of May Triumph (FFXIV) Blinded by Light Liberi Fatali Jesse’s Theme Stand Up Dragonsong Invincible (FFXIV) Zanarkand FF1-6 Battle Medley One Winged Angel I cannot wait for them to tour here again. Had such a great time
Also now that I’m level 30 with titan abilities unlocked and several other trees leveled up a bit I’m starting to feel like a fucking god during combat it’s way too satisfying
I've been doing well in the combat (in my opinion) but my only defeat so far was a bloody wyvern at the end of an open area where I should have stocked up on potions in the nearest town but instead tried to take it with nothing and low health. I think the game always feels like it's just starting. Which is a good thing. I'm having so much fun with it. Not yet at Drake's Breath though :(
So I finally got to the Drakes Head sequence you were all talking about. What the fuck?? That was awesome!
The thing I love about this game is that even with the departure from turn based combat and being more action adventure esq. It still really feels like a FF game. With the music and story and so many nods/comparisons to all the older ones. Just watching the Byron scene got me really feeling it.
I’ve never played FFIX, but picked it up on sale for Switch a while back, so I started it tonight. Idk what I’m doing in Tetra Master, but I’m having a good time
I’m sitting on 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 rn and haven’t played any (but did play 7 remake and know the plot of the entire original). I’m also halfway into 6 and about 3-4 hours into 4. Also I have the 1 and 2 gba ports as well as the 5 gba port that I’ll get around to eventually. Also I do technically own 15 on Xbox one but I’m selling my Xbox this week so I’ll have to buy that one again, unless it’s on ps plus which I think it might be.
Man I love the combat, but there will be times when so much shit is happening on screen. It’s hard to decipher enemy cues.
I need every JRPG to have a system like State of the Realm. I simply no longer have the time to restart games when I drop them and forget what’s going on
What if you played a game until you finished it, and then moved on to another game once you finished? I know this is a controversial take, and I'm not kidding, it probably is.
Finished the Kupka fight today, why has Clive’s mother not aged in twenty years and now they look the same age lol
Oh my fucking god what happens after this fight I am laughing so hard fuck yeah dude this is the best game ever I’m laughing because of how brilliant this is like I am stunned
Just met Mid. Been slow rolling and doing every hunt and side mission so it’s taking me a bit to progress. edit: gonna be upset if we don’t see a single Cactuar or Tonberry..
