I’m there too at the moment. Will probably play tonight a bit but not sure I’ll get through the whole thing.

 

I think I’ve died more in Drake’s Breath than I have the entire rest of the game

 

Thought my thumb was gonna fall off during Drake’s Breath

 

Oh man. This game has hints of 15 as well, but it’s still so different. Anyone else notice Vivi scarecrow? Haha

 

hitting an accidental parry is the best feeling

 

I get so hyped every time I luck into one

 

Load times or lack thereof, are phenomenal.

 

Hugo was a challenge fuck me man lol. Also hitting a precision counter parry is unreal

 

I love the Orchestrion. All the tracks are so damn good.

Just finished the Ifrit fight. Like y’all said game is opening up, story is getting better. Really loving this so far. Love the pacing of powers and upgrades. This Firebrand sword is sick. New duds are slick. Great game so far

 

I'm at the same part of yourself and I just feel like everything keeps getting better.

 

Reached Moore and did the Veil quest. Really hurts to see how Bearers are treated. That was a great quest line.

 

This Typhon boss fight lol game of the century. The music!!

 

Really wish it didn't require an item slot to have Torgal automated. Feels like I'm not using him to his potential and he usually just bites away at a random enemy lol

 

I hate when I accidentally hit left on the d-pad, switch to my items and I’m slamming down and up trying to get him to attack. Only to be using all my potions at full health.

 

Going to see Distant Worlds tonight, very excited

 

I need the OST for this to be on streaming ASAP

 

Haven’t played this since Saturday due to catching a cold that exacerbated my underlying health issues. But it’s all I’ve been thinking about for days. Hoping I can jump back in later today. I left off in the desert area where I’m trying to hunt down someone for round 2

 

If there’s one thing I’m gonna do, it’s forget to buy portions before a boss fight, and then waste at least one trying to command Torgal

 

It always switches back to items.

Just got to Drake’s Head..

 

Just bought final fantasy 8. 3 is now the only one I don’t own in some form

 

8 is top 3 for me..

 

Just beat the Drake’s Breath mothercrystal...then had to had to watch 10 minutes of cutscenes before I could save lol

 

That fight was awesome.. if you’re that far (which the majority are) you know.

Is it just me or does the game feel like it’s just starting haha

8 is so so so good

i love 9, feels super underrated in the 7-11 range
