So far I haven’t felt the need to explore tbh. I want to but there doesn’t really seem to be a reason for it.
Same I ran straight the stuff Rosaria. Only did the one side quest with the wolves that was on the way.
This games structure and level design reminds me a lot of tales of arise it’s definitely corridor based with wider open areas but I never approached this as being an open world exploration game which is good because it’s clearly not that
I wanted to get the plat and just learned that the first like 12-15 side quests in the game don’t count towards the trophy so there’s no point lmao. Guess I’ll fuck myself
Is there a way to remove side quest markers from showing up on the map? I accepted a bunch just to have them ready but any time I try to unselect them they just pop back up.
Now that I’ve had some time to think about it The Typhon boss fight is one of the coolest in the entire franchise. Had some straight up raid boss mechanics from 14 lol
Yeah that fight was so so incredible. I love the areas before it too, the music sets the tone fucking perfectly.
That fight was a tough one too. I think it’s a bit of a double edged sword how you get all your potions back after you die to a boss and depending on how far you are into their health bar you start at a later phase in the fight than back at the beginning. It’s nice for big long fights but also it all but guarantees I’m gonna be successful my second try on these bosses. Not a single boss has taken me more than two tries.
I just started it, but I’m liking it so far. Trying to figure things out, but no mini map…? Weird, but I’ll have to get used to that.
