We need an RPG where the hero fights the bad guys with the power of music. Limit Break: Creamy Guitar Solo.
It’s been a while, but I just had to share. I played CHRONO Trigger over the holidays for the first time ever and absolutely loved it. Had played CHRONO Cross about 4 times since release, but never Trigger. Before my time. I get why is so loved. And also I got this haha.. for my love of FF and specifically Jumbo Cactuar from FF8
I keep holding out for a remaster/remake of Chrono Cross, never played it but beat Trigger 3 times. Also Cactuar rules, probably my second favorite recurring enemy after Tonberry
I'm looking forward to playing Chrono Cross again, I played through most of it years ago, I don't think I finished, maybe got a bit into disc 2. I remember finding it easy, but I wasn't hooked. Excited to give it another try. I haven't played any classic turn-based JRPGs in over a year. I'm due.
I have the old strategy guide still. The music in Chrono Cross really takes me back. Like most FF music of that era. Cross is a underrated gem for sure. Highly recommend playing. Might have to for the switch remaster.. I wanted a FF tattoo for so long and had wanted Cactuar for several years. I figured I still wanted him in ink in my 30’s so fugg it. Why not haha
Not that anyone cares, but I played Trigger on my iPad Air with an Xbox controller. Was a pretty great experience, music was phenomenal and story was fun. I think the iPad version is the GBA remaster and has a lot of side content added I haven’t tapped into yet.
Anyone able to recommend the best version or way to play FF6? Everyone raves about it and I’ve never actually played it. Since I liked Chrono Trigger so much, I figured why not try 6.
the pixel remaster is coming out soon, that’ll probably be the best way since the GBA port is pretty much inaccessible these days
I remember playing six and my disc fucked up when the big thing happens to Terra. Don't think I ever finished it
I started IX this week and I can’t put it down. I played a little of VII and X, but never completed them. I want to see this one through.
