I got to the wedding scene in FFX, that was a pretty cool sequence of events.

But goddamn the stupid Cloister trials have to be one of my least favorite things in any FF game. I just did the one where you ride the platforms around and that's some bullshit

 

Ok I think this is gonna be one of my favorites in the series. Just watched the iconic scene with Yuna and Tidus in the water and I'm all in.

Even if Tidus is obnoxious, he's better than an emo edgelord like Cloud or Squall

 

Damn, I can see myself buying this again on the Switch. Completely love this game.

 

Still one of my all time favorites.

X is one of the great Final Fantasy games, along with VI, VII, Tactics, and IX.

 

For the longest time I had only played 1-9, why did I wait so long.

Just got to the Calm Lands. I'm trying to do the Monster Arena challenge by catching all the fiends in the area and got damn idk how I'm gonna capture a Malboro. They're consistently the worst enemies in the series

 

The areas in this game were brilliant when I first encountered them and damn it if I can remember every particular area.

 

There's a specific Malboro area

For the life of me I do not remember where it is

But yeah inflicting status of your own on it works I think? I can't remember

I am so helpful

 

If you think capturing that Malboro is bad, wait for the other one.

 

Last time I played through X I think I enjoyed it more. Still couldn't farm luck spheres for shit.

Also, fuck dodging lightning.

 

The ridiculous requirements for the Sigils has always been the biggest problem with X. I have never gotten the ones for Kimahri and Lulu, and the Tidus one is extremely difficult.

 

Yeah I ain't doing any of the extraneous side quest nonsense. I'm just capturing the 9 fiends in the Calm Lands and that's it. Don't have enough willpower to 100% a game these days

 

Some of them were difficult but wasn't too hard to just make weapons as good as (if not better than in some ways) the celestial weapons

 

I don't even remember what Monster Arena is and I played it last year lol

 

There were some really annoying monsters to find. There was a lizard way back in the area before the Djose Temple that very rarely spawned. Getting ten of them was a pain.

Yeah ef this. I just got killed by a Malboro and lost like an hour of playing time. Just gonna focus on the main quest lol

 

Damn Yunalesca is a tough fight. You have to have a very distinct setup to face her. I hate multi form bosses lol

 

I remember one of the Seymour fights being pretty brutal.

 

Yunalesca is one of my fav FF fights

Seymour III for sure, it was a tough one

 

The Seymour fights were even more annoying because you didn't have access to a party member right before the first two battles so it makes grinding to overcome him really uneven.

 

Also, on the original version, Yunalesca was an example of the classic long cutscene before a boss fight. Having to sit through that a few times gets old.
