Oh cool I'm at the Thunder Plains in FFX now. I can't imagine dodging 100 of these lightning bolt in a row

 

Some pretty bad memories of that place.

 

just finished IX for the first time and oh my god that was a perfect game

 

Yesssss it's my favorite. Vivi is the best FF character.

 

Beatrix is still my fave

Is IX on Switch?

 

Going through ch11 on VII Remake. Taking my time, but still enjoying the hell out of this game. Mixing different materia/abilities is quite satisfying.

 

7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 are all on Switch

 

Put 6 on Switch cowards

 

I've been close to getting the Vita out for it lol

 

Wife is gone for two weeks and the plan is to play the hell out of X until I beat it

1 & 2: Dawn of Souls, IV Advance, V Advance, and VI Advance should just got put on Switch Also the DS versions of III and IV.

It makes absolutely no sense to me that Square thinks there's a big enough audience on Switch to make Bravely Default II, but doesn't want the full Final Fantasy series there also. Bring FFXIII to Switch too, why not. Especially when there are excellent versions of all of them that have been on Nintendo systems before (except XIII obviously).

Very true.

Also bring the DS versions of DQ4-6, the 3DS versions of DQ7-8, and DQ9, to Switch too while they're at it.

 

They'd sell so many copies in Japan, and JRPG popularity in the West is at an all time high, its as if they don't like money by not porting these games

 

Not to mention that, prior to DQ11, DQ8 was previously the most successful game in the West. And the 3DS version is a really great port.

That’s not what you should beat the hell out of when your wife is gone.

 

The version you can play on Vita is the ps1 version, which suffers from bad translation and response time. Also the Blitz inputs are pretty hard to do

But Vita is a JRPG machine and very good if that's what you want

 

I'm one of the two Vita defenders on this site lol, it's amazing for JRPGs

 

It's honestly a great console, just didn't stand much of a chance in the west

 

would probably do better in 2020 since people are openly weeb now

 

If they put all the old FF and DQ games on the Switch I'd never get anything done
