it so weird. all the buttons work. I can pause it, look at the map, move my head, but it won't let me stop looking down at this couple

The AP up Materia is the best. Trying to max out my elemental currently.

 

I just started the original ff7 for the 3rd time. Fingers crossed I actually finish it this time.

 

I beat FF7R just the other day. I have mixed feelings about it. I enjoyed a lot of aspects and did enjoy the combat by the end. However, once I got to Chapter 17, ugh. I did not enjoy those last 2 chapters. I'm kinda bummed. The story aspect I'm okay with, but other things bothered me with the gameplay n such.

I have no desire to max out characters or replay on Hard mode. Weak end game which is a damn shame.

Instead, I think I'm gonna replay FF7. It's been so long and the characters are really the heart of the game.

 

I loved the end of the game and it made me so excited for what they’re going to do next, whenever it comes lol

 

I just wish we knew when the next one was coming is all, or at least some kind of idea. With how long the game took to come out and all the hype, it's just hard for me to not be disappointed in the game. I enjoyed it but it didn't come close to what it should have been.

 

I want them to give us an update on FFXVI first, tbh.

FFVIIR 2 will probably be out in 2-3 years.

 

I got it for Christmas in like 1999 and after starting it several times over the last 20 years I finally finished a couple weeks ago

 

Also XII is on sale in the PSN store so I'm gonna start that at some point

 

how is XII? I really never heard much about it

 

I wish they had not implemented the Zodiac Job System in the remasters of XII. It was such a fun game but they took away a lot of your freedom.

 

I thought it was supposed to give you more freedom in the zodiac edition? Cause I thought some jobs were restricted to certain characters and in the zodiac you could make any of them any job.

 

XII is #2 in the series for me behind VI. Fantastic game with excellent characters, a really cool world, and a great story.

It’s #2 for me, I said. I count differently than most people.

 

Just finished and can't wait to dig into hard mode. Like I said, I'm definitely gonna be platinum-ing this game.

That ending.. I have so many questions. Wow. I loved this game.

 

Only two complaints I have:

I didn't like Sephiroth's voice actor, I much preferred whoever did it originally and two his model didn't seem as good as the others. His face seemed off. Maybe that coupled with the VA

 

My friend bought the game probably because she's a fan of that actor, haha

 

haha Superman of the DC/CW verse. I just found out he was the one playing him. Loved everyone else's VA, but his was a little lacking IMO

 

Agreed. There’s also just too much of him. This is the first 1/10th of the game and he’s already shown up like 15 times and we fought him on the moon. How can you escalate this?

 

Beat Hell House in one try on Normal. Lots of healing, only one Phoenix down. The secret is to hit it with magic that's the opposite of whatever it's currently displaying: Fire - Hit with Ice. Ice - Hit with Fire. Wind - Hit with Electricity. Electricity - Hit with Wind. I love this game because, for me at least, it's the perfect amount of challenging without making me throw my controller in frustration.

 

Hard mode is a test in patience. They do like double or triple damage and seem way more aggressive. Finally getting the hang of using counterstance couple with punisher, parry and deadly dodge. I love the combat in this game. Especially when you get in a flow of using all three characters like an orchestra.
