Im a little through Chapter 4 and I really love the expansion on Midgar. For someone literally fresh out the original FFVII I always did wonder on the inner workings of the other sectors and slums, the other characters the living life and these are just gorgeous. An enrichment to the story and, although its not a 1:1 remake, I'm glad for it.

 

So jealous. Pre-ordered this on Amazon over a year and a half ago and I won't be getting it until the 17th. I cannot wait to dive into this.. The hype is off the charts. I'm a die hard KH fan, but even more so a die hard FF and FF7 fan. Came out when I was 8 and has been my favorite RPG ever since. I'm open for however this plays out.

 

I already know I'm gonna shed a few tears. I was watching MaximilianDood stream the beginning and when you first meet Aerith and her theme kicks in... the nostalgia punched me in the heart and I squeaked out a tear haha.

I'll never forget being that young and that witnessing that twist.. My little mind was blown they could do that in a video game..

 

about 9/10 hours in and coming up on the airbuster. this game

 

Just beat it and put it down for the night haha. What a fight.

 

Just got to Chapter 8.

Chapter 7 was a whole lot of fun. Loved the Airbuster fight

 

I had to stop just before the air buster as the gf came home and I’d been playing it for 7hours straight since she left the apartment in the morning. Was a good session. More please

 

I'm definitely gonna play OG FF7 after this again

 

I think I'll be in the mood for another FF but I don't know which yet

 

Gonna play P5 Royal immediately after this anyway

 

I’m really trying not to rush through this but I’m already on Chapter 4 and I’ve only put in 4:41:55 lol

 

Other than the side quests it's really hard to slow down tbh

 

I got one of my best friends playing FF7R and another playing the OG FF7 for the first time because of my obnoxious dedication to the damn series, well specifically this game

I bought Persona 5 on release but still haven't finished it. Maybe I'll give it another go after I'm done with remake, but I'm 30 hours in and not even half way (in Persona), haha. It's soooo long.

 

Yeah I'm gonna take a break from playing there's no rush.

I played like a day and a half straight, so i'm about 13 or 14 in and then I stopped playing yesterday afternoon when I got a little burned out. Absolutely love it and realize I wanna savor it so theres no rush. Working today until thurs so I won't be able to play a ton but that's cool with me.

 

I found darts and now I can't progress cuz I keep playing darts

got a 6 turn game
