I played for a good amount today but spent most of my time at the Golden Saucer and chatting with a dungeon party I was in haha. It’s so nice being in such a cool and non-toxic community

 

There is maintenance all day today (I believe) for the new patch so I will see you all tomorrow night hahaha

 

Bummed because I had plans last night to finally see the new Star Wars and was planning on playing all night tonight but then the plans got pushed back so I probably won’t be able to play til tomorrow.

Ended up playing ffx instead haha

 

Keep in mind everyone that there will likely be a patch that needs to be downloaded, if you plan on playing tonight get that download started early if you can

 

i miss this game and MonHun should be beaten in the next couple of weeks allowing me to return lol

 

Was torture not being able to play last night. Pumped to play tonight. Downloading the patch now. BLM gotta a little bump up it looks like

 

Yeah and RDM got nerfed hahaha

 

After playing some dungeons I think I’m gonna level up to 50 and then get the dark knight job lol. They look really fun to play

 

I'm not very good at it but it's definitely fun to play hahaha

 

After I get my core classes to 70 (Red Mage, Scholar/Summoner, White Mage, Paladin) I'll probably try and level Bard

 

Nice haha. Yeah Lancer is fun but it feels like I’m just spamming the same combo 90% of the time (this is probably different later on) but also I’m interested in tanking a bit since it might make queuing quicker.

Also I just realized your avatar is Devola and Popola. Very nice

 

ya'll should pretend money is infinite and pick up Monster Hunter too

 

Devola and Popola did nothing wrong and I'm still so heartbroken for them

 

I would like to still spend time with my wife sometimes

 

I feel like every night since I’ve gotten this game I’ve stayed up way too late playing it haha

 

Halfway to level 70!

 

Being able to fight Kefka is p fucking cool

Ima likely be level 70 tonight and working towards that sweet Kefka raid

 

i need to at least get to HR quests in Monster Hunter before i pick this back up, but i miss it

 

So I hit level 27 lancer last night and am almost to the point when I would switch to marauder to get dragoon. If I plan to change from dps to tank later on is there anything else I should be doing to make it smoother/easier? Like any other classes I should level up a bit?

 

You should be good just leveling up Marauder and maybe Gladiator. (If you go Warrior it'll be MRD 30/GLD 15) If you're just concerned about Dragoon at the moment you can just get Marauder to 15 and be set. After Stormblood, the cross-class stuff isn't an issue anymore

 

Level 70 now and now the game begins

 

Level 60 now and all I want is STORMBLOOD. Holy shit at the equipment you have access to at 60 tho
