So my wife has been watching me play and is interested in getting it for her computer so she can join in. Currently she would just be getting it for Mac but we’re going to be getting a pc within the next few months hopefully. Would she be able to transfer her data from one to the other? Or would they make her buy a new copy of the game for that
To go from Mac version to PC version i think she’d have to get a new copy unfortunately, she’d keep character data across em obviously but yeah :/ double check though cuz maybe it’s different for computer-to-computer
Also once you hit that level 30 mark be SURE to keep up on class/job quests. You’ll need em for new abilities (unless that has changed)
Did a trial roulette last night as a Red Mage and got 5 player comms just for my Persona 5 glamour haha
WAYS TO QUICKLY LEVEL SIDE CLASSES (1-50): 1. FATEs This is probably the most common. Find FATEs that are around your level, burn em down, get EXP, go to the next FATE. 2. PALACE OF THE DEAD The Palace Of The Dead is unlocked through this quest and is a semi-lengthy floor-style run where your class starts at level 1 and slowly levels as you progress through floors. The runs are done in 10-floor runs (1-10, 11-20, etc) and after each set of 10 you get a sizeable amount of exp. Since party composition doesn't matter for Palace Of The Dead, queues are rather quick compared to dungeons. This is also a good way to learn how to use your sub-class, and is what I would personally recommend for leveling. 3. ROULETTES Roulettes give a good amount of exp, especially dungeon roulettes. These can be done once you hit level 15 for dungeons (so this would be later on), and you can do guildhest roulette starting at level 10. 4. GUILDHESTS Guildhests give an exp bonus each time an individual guildhest is done with a new class, so this is a good way to get a chunk of exp. 5. HUNTING LOG You may notice that you have a Hunting Log on your menu. Each class has different hunts that can be found and defeated for a chunk of exp. 6. QUESTS There will likely be leftover quests for your level in various areas of the map, do them to get exp. This gives the least exp since the sub-class exp bonus and rested exp bonus do not apply.
A lot of those can be done simultaneously as well. Let's say you're level 20 and doing leveling roulette but you have a 30 minute queue. You can run around and do FATEs/Hunting Log/Quests while you wait for your queue.
You shouldn’t start leveling other classes til you hit level 30 though right? Or is it some milestone on your main class that you should wait until
You CAN level other classes before you're level 30+ but it'll be slower I'll give an example: So let's say you've got your Lancer at level 30, and you want to get Marauder up to level 15 so you can unlock Dragoon. While you're leveling your Marauder, you're gonna get a massive exp bonus for each enemy you kill+FATE+each roulette you do, up until you reach level 30 with it (since that's what your Lancer is at). However, if your Lancer is only level 10 and you wanna get a jump start on your Marauder, you'll only get the exp boost up to level 10 for your Marauder. After that, it'll be recognized as more of a "main" and require you to level at a normal rate.
Got to level 68 last night, finished Doma Castle (I am really loving the FF6 references in Stormblood), SO close to the end of the main story
got arcanist to 15, got white mage last night. won't get a chance to play tonight but i think that's a good place to pause as monster hunter takes over my life for a bit
Just hit level 55, need to get to 60 but then I realize I need to spend money to get fucking stormblood lol
