I’ve basically just unlocked every dungeon from ARR’s hard mode quest so I’m definitely looking to run those this week/friday

In today's FFXIV climate all content is relevant so you don't have to worry about that haha

 

any tips on how to spend gil? like is there a certain area with good shops and such i should hold off for? all my gear is common and i have 75k gil which feels like a decent chunk but idk if it really is, i only ever spend it on teleporting

 

It really depends on what your end goal is. Your best gear for your class is gonna be bought with a currency called tomestones so you don't really need to spend gil on that unless it's like a piece here and there to make sure you're not too undergeared as you level (but sidequests should give that gear too). I'd save as much as you can for the time being especially if you end up getting into crafting or gathering which can be major gil sinks at first

Plus you can buy minions and orchestrion songs and shit on the marketboard

 

I have 10 million gil and I feel like I don't have much at all for what I wanna do

 

Gil is really only important for aesthetic stuff

 

The best crafting and gathering gear has to be made or bought off the marketboard and that can be a ton of gil, like each piece of gear potentially being in the millions
