Red Mage by far has the simplest endgame rotation that happens to be the hardest to perfect. Holy hell there's a lot to take in.
I should be back on tonight. Trying to grind up my iLvl so I can do the Kefka raids but I'll still be able to help run anything with other classes too.
i have not but i'm definitely going to get back into it this weekend at the latest, been itching for it again (and the podcasts are piling up)
surprised/pleased to say i miss the game tho, i have a nasty habit of ditching games but im excited to jump back in to this
Got to 17 MRD! I saw the starting quest for DRG on the ffxiv website but for whatever reason when I talked to Ywain the quest start option wasn’t popping up? I also had something to go to right after talking to him so I didn’t get much time to troubleshoot, but am thinking I might not be far enough in the main quest or something
Have you done all your Lancer and Marauder quests? I think you have to do your lancer quests up to (and including) 30 and Marauder up to 15
I think I’m right about that because I remembered when I first unlocked BLM I still had a Thaumaturge quest to do before I could get the BLM quest
Yup I finished lancer in its entirety and did marauder up to 15 (I wanted to get to level 16 because I wanted provoke). I’m gonna check the main quest I’m on later because I do often prioritize side quests over main quests so it is possible I’m just not far enough haha
So I wasn’t able to find it haha but I switched back to marauder because I was having a lot of fun tanking in dungeons so now I’m back to working on that. Got up to level 21 last night
Have you gotten to Coerthas yet in the story? That may be a factor too since the Dragoon quest requires going there
