Did anyone see Coda or Hive? Both seemed to clean up at the awards. Hive is still playing until tomorrow.

SXSW online film fest starts tonight. I'd like to catch some films, but it looks like they're not selling individual tickets and the full fest pass is $400?!? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Nightstream is this weekend. I did the virtual pass last year and it rocked. Anyone know anything about any of the films playing?

Not familiar with any others but I’ve heard very good things about We’re All Going to the World’s Fair

Bumping for Sundance having released their virtual schedule.

    2022 Sundance Film Festival

Probably gonna go with Sunday package, After Yang and Honk for Jesus being the main draws.

Also apparently a remake of Ikiru starring Bill Nighy and written by Kazuo Ishiguro

Anyone catching Sundance movies this year?

After Yang is unbelievably good. Dual fills my need for new Yorgos Lanthimos. When You Finish Saving The World also fills my need for new Noah Baumbach.

Really enjoyed Cha Cha Real Smooth - Cooper Raiff is way too wise and accomplished for his age and it makes me jealous lol

I haven't seen Shithouse and wanted to hate this at the beginning because he seemed like a douche, but it ended up being a really charming sweet movie

  25. What were the best Sundance movies this year? I only watched one. Which ones should we be keeping an eye out for?
