I was just thinking this yesterday haha. He was only 25 when Fightstar took their first hiatus! It's cool that he's been around for so long and is still relatively young.

Lol I didn’t even notice that the guy at the end is not supposed to be Charlie

    Trusted

Who is the guy at the end of the video? Or is he not meant to be recognised?

It's clearly not him (and clearly Charlie), but more just wondering if I'm missing something

    Still Alive

Any new President single reminds me how much I'd like Fightstar to put "They liked you better when you were dead" on streaming.

You Americans can't listen to Palahniuk's Laughter and the best version of Mono on streaming?

Yeah I was gonna say, we have that on streaming. Still my favorite Fightstar release.

Funny though, in my memory Paint Your Target was on that, but it isn’t.

EDIT: Apparently an extended version does have Paint Your Target (and more). That version of the record is not on Spotify here however.

The full EP is probably my favourite release of his too.

Yeah I think it's his best work. You can tell how cathartic it was but it's also perfectly unrefined and naive, like they were just playing what they liked and stumbling upon songs along the way. A snowballing mix of joy and nervous energy.

The rawness of the EP (and extended) is legendary. Their best release by a mile for me.
