I feel like it’s been the worst of all worlds with Charlie for years now, he’s been touring with Busted but they haven’t made an album of new music since 2019. We had the solo album from him in 2022 which was good but far from his best work. Excited if this does turn out to be Charlie, would love some more heavy music from him

 

I've just seen a theory on Reddit that it could be full Busted. James and Matt either side of Charlie - someone spotted the drum kit is the same as their touring drummer Eddy uses, and there was talk about Busted recording with Jordan Fish recently. That would be insane though

 

Could this be some of the stuff they did with Jordan Fish?

 

That'd be neat, at least to hear Eddy rip on heavier studio stuff. It's been a while since Lower Than Atlantis' last output.

 

I forget that 2022 album came out... such a letdown after his first two solo albums.

 

i feel like it's a good, bordering great album if it was another artist instead of charlie.

 

I’m 100% sure Charlie’s in this band. Bookmark it. I’ll eat crow if I’m wrong. Maybe this is an outlet for Charlie to make heavier music again without all the other Fightstar guys needing to be on board.

 

Would be a shame if he did go back to heavier music without the rest of Fightstar for me. I love all the lads and would love to see them back together making music

Great song, I cant believe it's been 10 years since we got any heavy music from Charlie. I hope we get an album this year. They must have at least a few songs already since they're playing Download next month.

 

Not a fan of the vocal effects. I’m still yearning for the days of the first Fightstar EP.

I’m not a huge fan of the vocals or the melody. Lyrics are a bit silly too. Hopefully it grows on me

Curious to see who else is part of the line-up because yup, this sounds just like Fightstar with modern alternative metal/metalcore tropes lol.

It's fine, but Charlie's voice is the only thing that makes it stand out.

 

Solid song. I just prefer heavy music from Charlie really. I wish he'd bring back Fightstar, but I'm here for this as well.
