Very happy for Croatia. Second semi final appearance since independence. Very impressive, especially given they only have a population of only 4m.

 

I am kinda happy whoever wins out of these final 4, all good/likeable teams imo. I cannot predict who will end up in the final at all, don't think Croatia will be too tired to perform against England and they are certainly the toughest team we have had to face so far.
(Modric also looks a lot like Johan Cruyff these days too! And not so much like Gail goddamn Platt lmao, so harsh )

honestly, the quality of football hasn’t always been great but the games are fantastic and really entertaining for the most part

 

Also I spent today’s game in a crowded pub around the corner Fromm Hyde Park before seeing The Cure and the atmosphere was incredible.

I genuinely believe we could do this. Like, I’ve NEVER felt this optimistic about England ever, but feeling the buzz in a central London pub as everyone cheered and sang and drank was special. This must be what mild success feels like at international level
