Heh, fair, it would be very England to completely dominate the group and then draw Germany. But I'm not a huge fan of playing tactically for the lower position in the group, it tends to go wrong, as we sort of saw at Euro 2016.

I don't think you can think like that. It's not ideal to get someone like Germany early, but it's not like the games are going to be easy at that stage anyway. Keep up the momentum by aiming to win each game, one at a time.
