So Pulisic, Ziyech, and Havertz have all won MOTM. Maybe the problem is Chelsea…

It will never not be funny to mr that we have actual sensor technology that we rely on, that tells us where the ball is on the pitch to a millimeter, yet Barry on Twitter thinks he’s found a new angle that disproves it.

i get that it’s a close call in a MASSIVE game, but that’s just what happens sometimes. I’ve seen my own club and nation go out for things that were blatant fixing or cheating (RVP red card vs Barcelona for instance). It happens.

Also i just got back to my hotel and watched the highlights and of course I missed potentially the best night in the tournament so far.

Is this an official picture? Maybe I am too dumb to grasp simple geometry but if the line is in such an angle, shouldn't the part of the ball that is supposed to be inside also have a similar angle?

idk I just saw it on reddit. could have been faked I guess. But also so little of the ball is still in its hard to tell anything about the angle.

I know in tennis, Hawkeye must prove it’s touching the line or else it’s out. Doesn’t matter about the wide part of the ball above the point of contact. If they’re using the exact same technology, it might have flaws if they’re counting the wide part.

God, what would have been if that 5 minutes where Japan and Costa Rica were winning held on. Would have been hilarious to see both Spain and Germany out.

It genuinely is - for about 5 managers in a row now our attack has been very poor; there has to be something beyond just tactics & their "form" that holds these players back, as they continually show their quality whenever they are not playing for CFC. Except maybe Lukaku haha

At least with Tuchel you could say it was pretty much the entire front six being played out of position. Otherwise, considering the talent that’s gone through there, it’s pretty confusing.

International football is just fecking weird though, I don’t think you can really make too many judgements based on it. There’s always players that are unbelievable for their country but not at that level in club football and vice versa.

That got called with VAR because Messi's did the other day. Only way that makes sense.
