Vini Jr. may have the quickest ascent in world footy class-wise. He became an entirely different, World Class player overnight practically and has maintained it since.

It’s rate you see a man commit suicide live on TV. Especially via the method of “throw a rainbow flag at a ref”

 

Years back, Dani (if you remember her; the Madrid fan) and I went to a USMNT-Jamaica match and there was a pitch invader... he made a valiant run for well over 2 minutes, the crowd was on his side and the players were dying laughing, and then he jumped an advertising board and got tazed mid-air. The resulting "OH!" from the stadium as he immediately fell to the ground is a core memory.

 

Didn't look like it to me, but his run definitely froze the keeper.

If you get rid of Pepe, Ronaldo, and a few others, this Portugal group is almost quite likable once you get over the theatrics. Lots of really quality players.

As a United fan I’m shocked and appalled you didn’t mention Bruno in that list straight out.

 

Bruno was very good to me in fantasy last season.

 

I say this as a ManU fan: Watching Bruno get denied a hat trick twice is oddly satisfying given that whiny face he shows all game every game
