Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

USA basically has to beat an Iran team that’ll only need 1 point in the game against us now. They’ll play a low block too and we struggle against that. Fingers crossed for a win today now lol

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

Bale, Ramsey and Allen are well past their best, and they haven't been able to replace that quality at all so I'm not surprised they're going home.

It's interesting, they were stuck between a rock and a hard place - either picking higher quality players that have not been starting games recently, have less match practice/ fitness, and are clearly on the decline, or pick lesser quality players.

I often think teams are better off picking the less quality players if they can be drilled well and work hard.

Surely that should’ve been a penalty for Qatar?

Tough one! It's definitely clumsy from the Senegalese but Afif(?) put his leg across the defender to get contact.

Isn’t it Spain where like seven players had babies exactly 9 months after the Euro 2012 final?

Does the US even need a point at this point?

as long as we beat Iran, only way we don’t advance is if Wales beats England and tops us in goal differential

a draw is basically the same — still need to win on Tuesday — just don’t need to worry about the Wales winning edge case

Every wonder save Mendy makes makes this even funnier at this point.

Let's get these people moving faster!

Don't necessarily disagree - but with how little time they had for a training camp, they need to be a long-serving group to get enough coaching to drill that type of team play.

Well that’s no fun, but also a great goal haha

I think it only really matters insofar as England going into the Wales match with 6 points would take the pressure off England to beat, or even tie, Wales. A point today would prevent that
