Even with France’s issues, I fancy a decent win here.

    3-0

Do you ever just like forget how fast Mbappe is until you see him blow last someone without leaving second gear?

This game feels a lot like that Netherlands-Australia match from 2014 with the Cahill goal.

For those not watching the BBC coverage, Gary just asked Vincent Kompany if he would take Ronaldo at Burnley, and he said “Well we need players who can run”

I'm not saying this is the case but a few seasons ago Newcastle had a brutal injury record and it turned out to be because we had a cheap and not very good physio combined with out-of-date training methods (thanks, Mike Ashley!)

Morocco has a sneakily stacked squad.

I read an article about how FIFA is emphasizing that injuries and substitutions be made up for in stoppage time last night and found out that four of the largest stoppage times ever in the World Cup were set in four back to back to back to back halves on Monday.

To me this is more evidence football should use a stopped clock (possibly with a change to 40-minute halves).

    I'm curious behind the reasoning.
