Congo just aren't shooting enough, how frustrating.

Be twice the ocean. Be twice the land.

We're going to have to start Dan Burn against Mexico so we have at least one guy who can deal with the altitude

Playing through an injury for club and country will do that, tbf. Man needs a sit down and a proper break, but no one will let him lol.

I'm less worried for Mexico after that match. Should be interesting

For any unaware, the winner of Belgium-Senegal would be the US's next opponent (in Seattle) should we win tonight.

    The season is never over.

Ndiaye randomly starting when it matters is unexpected but I hope he smashes it.

That was a clear frog splash dive by Doku so why no yellow?

Correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't watched a lot of matches but I don't feel like there has been a younger "unknown" player thats made a name for himself yet at this world cup. One that would get signed by a bigger club this summer due to his performance. Am I missing someone?

    Manzambi of Switzerland.

He played in the Europa League final but do feel his goalscoring and positioning in that Switzerland team have been the surprise.

That would make sense as I have not watched one switzerland match lol.

That's true but I'd still say he's unknown enough. Freiburg to Newcastle is certainly a shift, too, for the mooted fee. In before Newcastle being a small club gags haha

Ayyoub Bouaddi Is someone I had never heard of before who is getting exposure w Morocco. Gilberto Mora of Mexico, but not sure if he’s played great or only getting press because he’s the youngest player at the tournament.

Regarding young starlets, just think if Karl hadn’t gotten injured. Sane would have ridden the bench, Karl would have his intl coming out party as an 18 year old, and Germany would prob still be in the mix. What could have been…
