Would have expected Germany to come out way stronger in the second half, but if anything, Ivory Coast look like they've stepped it up a notch.
Probably stating the obvious here, but when folks first saw Germany's draw for this World Cup, Curaçao were not part of the tough draw discourse. Ivory Coast were - and perhaps the worst part for Germany - Ecuador were.
Because third goes through, Curacao are sort of a saving grace for those teams. A free chance to up their goal difference lol.
