That was an awful time to score for England. You knew we’d just try to camp out and cling on. Not gonna happen for nearly 40 minutes of play.
Tuchel has generally been good tactically, but the subs and formation changes in the second half put us right down a cul de sac. Just no capability to fight back.
the mentality to sit back and defend rather than continue to go with whats working after a team takes a lead never makes sense to me. sure, a lot of the change can be attributed to Agrentina's tactics. But this is a team that you've already seen come back twice in the last 15 minutes of a game in the knockouts. Just dreadful coaching to not be prepared for it.
