Honestly, I complain about bias, and this is going to sound biased as hell, but England is the better team and I know that most likely if they don't win, I'll have some complaints about how they played. Sure, Messi may have a moment of magic and win a tight game, but on paper, this England team is better overall in most areas. But.... that doesn't matter unless you show it! Lets gooooooooooooooo.
I think the continuity with this Argentina team is a pretty big factor. They’ve been trotting out basically the same squad for years now. And they’ve won a ton in the process. That can balance things against a more overall talented team.
England (4-2-3-1) Pickford; James, Stones, Guehi, Spence; Anderson, Rice; Rogers, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane. Argentina (4-1-3-2) E Martinez; Molina, Romero, Lisandro Martinez, Tagliafico; Paredes; Simeone, E Fernandez, Mac Allister; Messi, Alvarez. Simeone over De Paul is a huge switch!
I believe in the boys tonight, it feels so winnable. Nervous as fuck but if there was ever a time, it's now! Come on England!!!!!!!!!!
Jordan Henderson is on the bench. The funniest thing England could do is sub him on for penalties if it gets there.
Gonna be 13' of stoppage from all the time its taking refs to tell these babies to stop touching each other.
The ref taking 30 seconds telling the guy not to impede the keeper and then he still just stands there and impedes the keeper. Like why? Is it just to get under England's skin?
