Everyone not listening to this band is missing out. I wish Flash Tattoos was on this record since that's probably my fave FM song but this collection rules nevertheless. Hope this means more touring in the future!
This is cool, I just wish the production was *slightly* better. Like, I would probably love this if it was even on the same level as Pinegrove's new song.
Favorite discovery of 2017 for sure. Flash Tattoos is a song that I can keep coming back to without getting bored which is rare. Stoked to see where they go in the future.
God, I love Field Medic. Known him since he opened for Fences with his old band and super happy to see him get more exposure. Everyone needs to check out this EP if they haven't already:
yup! Just got one and talked to him asked him about the neighborhood shows, hahaha. Apparently an old roommate drummed with them and they became friends and have done shows together before, he’s psyched haha
I would very much like that new record Which is dumb because he has 10000 songs on band camp I haven't heard, but the sentiment still stands. This comp hasn't left rotation since it came out, probably my favorite recent discovery. Such an incredible songwriter
I want new stuff because I think less lofi recordings will bring out some new magic damnit I should have asked about that
Dude just records in his bedroom right now. I'm super curious to hear anything done in a proper studio, but I'm also really into the lo-fi charm. Some of his old band's material is extremely well produced. Way different from Field Medic, but for those who are curious check it: Burial Grounds, by Rin Tin Tiger
