I really don't like how every single song gets the same exact treatment instead of being creative. Absolutely any emotion is removed vocally though, just singing every song emotionless, not a fan
I know they’ve been releasing tidbits here and there but 5 years since the last album doesnt seem real lol
These songs plus Nudge are SO GOOD ahhhhh I am so excited NEW THREAD FIDLAR - Surviving The Dream (September 20, 2024) • forum.chorus.fm
i found this CD at half price books maybe a week or two ago, finally got around to listening to it on my way to work and i loved it, the intro song reminded me of beastie boys/gorillaz and then they record was all over the place, some pop punk, some garage rock, surf rock, it all flowed well too. i hadn't really heard anything prior so this was my first album for fidlar, i remember when it came out though because of the collab song with k.flay who i was jamming heavily back when this came out, my question, what album do i listen to next from these guys? thanks!
They're 100% pure fun. The debut album is the most raw, but excellent and the most recent is maybe their least varied but it's still super fun too. And definitely don't skip the That's Life EP
