Joan, this track is produced by Tim Pagnotta (formerly of Sugarcult) who also produced Walk The Moons' 'Talking is Hard'
Consistently great pop music from these guys, these are the top three that come to my head. 2M2H is my favorite EP of theirs, has a song featuring St. Lucia too. Phenomenal live act as well!
This is all I've been listening to since it came out. I can't even narrow down my favorites because every song is huge.
Yeah I said it should be trimmed earlier, but honestly the only song I don't completely like is Hello Hello, and that one is growing on me.

"heavy rotation" isn't very good and i hate these assemblage-y debut albums which are composed of singles that are largely 2-3 years old but... idk, it bangs
Liking this less the more I listen, too many songs are cookie cutter versions of each other, could easily cut 4-5 tracks to make it more concise, and a few songs just aren't very good at all. When it's good, it's great, but really just falls into the same groove for way too long. Good start though, looking forward to what they can do in the future
Kind of the same, I wish they trimmed it by a few songs, and maybe have included "Vanilla", which is a banger. As a first album by a band it's still a pretty great effort, especially for a new listener, but hopefully in the future we can get a more varied sound.
I wouldn't say I'm liking it less, but I agree that cutting it down would've helped. I've basically been listening to it as an 8-song EP: the first 4, "Say No More," "Paris," "Brooklyn," and "Midnight." Also, I really love "Paris," but man is it similar to "You" by The 1975 (particularly the outro).
If they cut it down most people would neve rhear these songs. It’s great to have them all in one place.
Say No More acoustic came up on my spotify release radar and I thought it was a new ellie goulding song. I haven't stopped listening since. I fucking love her voice.
Really enjoy this band but I am not a fan of albums with so many songs. Both these and The 1975 are guilty of this, despite being bands I very much enjoy.
So they are planning for an EP of sorts towards end of summer. They already have like 12 working titles on Facebook. Holy shit balls!
I'll bet they've had some songs banked for a while, this album has a ton of songs that had already been around for a while
