Going through their debut album again - man, this thing seriously slaps

 

Yeah it’s an incredible debut. I can’t really see them matching it with this next record even if I’ve enjoyed some of the new ep tracks - just feels like a minor regression

 

I like the new songs :)

 

I honestly think this newest song is the worst they’ve ever put out. Ugh.

 

Yeah ever since the guitarist got kicked out (left?), things just haven't been as good.

They are just void of much energy or that early polish - this is like Ryan key during lights and sounds lol

 

Buying up all the Fickle Friends stock cause they're still really good.

 

Alone is.... fine enough. Not their worst, not their worst, whatever

 

Yeah whole EP is meh

 

I don't think it's really an EP, it's just all the singles released from the upcoming album so far. Which is 6 of 12.... so we've heard half the album haha.

 

that's just the vibe with some campaigns nowadays it seems, just keep dropping music until you have a whole album in your library

i am very into this sound for them and i think this would be super fun live

 

I’m climbing off the bandwagon. I’ll forever check out anything they release in the hope that I reconnect with it, but I haven’t felt excited by Fickle Friends since we got the likes of “Glue”, “Vanilla”, “Cry Baby”.

 

I don’t hate this one - Sonically pretty solid. Def better than Alone for me. Nothing has sniffed at the debut for me.

Yeah this new album is not for me :( IRL is the best song on this and it was already on their EP. These guys had such a great start with their early stuff and most of the first album!
