It looks like they put on such an awesome show. Based on the two songs it just seems they dont translate well to the studio.
I can guarantee they'd be amazing to see live but they just don't translate well to record so far. If you want a band with one guitarist, one singer and one drummer who translate amazingly well between both mediums go listen to '68 right the fuck now though
this output is fucking pitiful given the personnel involved. i can't believe how lackluster and phoned in it all sounds given the hyperbolic hype they keep building themselves up with.
The songs sound way too overproduced and polished. It sounds like Jason is yelling over computer beats.
I think this one is somewhat more interesting, but still could be SO much more than what it is. Really disappointed in this project so far.
This is mean, but I'm kind of glad that Letlive. broke up if this would've been their next album. And I actually liked If I'm the Devil.
Yeah this needs to be raw. Like recorded in one take to analogue tape type shit. The Chariot/Norma Jean first album type recording style.
This is all so fucking awful lol. I had such high hopes for this band too given the musicians involved- ugh.
I can tolerate Devil but I totally agree- this shit is awful and I’m glad Letlive. ended if this was any indicator of the next record. Absolutely man.
Do you think the band knows about this kinda negative reaction? Seems like too many people are awfully confused and think this is deep
