So many choruses are like the love children of Linkin Park and Hollywood Undead. Those choruses aside, this is a ton of fun when it gets aggressive.
Ready for a majority of the critics in this thread to eat crow after listening to the album. If not, it's whatever. But this record is fucking amazing & if you can't see that I'm sry
I enjoy it. Reminds me of the recent Underoath album....just a little a bit though. Obv Linkin Park influence is all over this too.
The vocal melody in the beginning of the chorus of Animal is basically the same as Burn it Down lol. Doesn't help that they're back to back on the album. This is pretty fun though and the more aggressive parts scratch that letlive itch enough to leave me happy!
I don't know what it is, because I really don't care all that much for this music much anymore, but I'm digging this. Must just be my general appreciation for Jason.
man i've been a huge detractor of almost everything jason has done post 2013 but this definitely surprised me. happy to see they really fleshed their sound out and made a pretty massive album. it gets corny af in parts but it's kind of endearing.
this makes me want to listen to Fake History lmao nah (because I'm always in the mood for Fake History) but real talk this is enjoyable enough
Really liked this album. Inglewood is a great songs but some of it reminds me of the Lonely Island. I think it is the emphasised words after a line.
This is actually a lot better than I expected, very fun album. Some of the sections in out of control/3 remind me of gambino for some reason
The fills sound more Aric than Travis but there’s also a ton of programmed drums here too so it’s hard to tell.
I can't think of a single other person that's only released one album that I LOVE and everything else they've released I don't like at all.
I’m still of the opinion that with better production, The Blackest Beautiful would be on par with Fake History (I’m assuming FH is the album you’re talking about, apologies if I’m wrong)
